Research on Relative Threshold of Abnormal Travel in Subway Based on Bilateral Curve Fitting

Abnormal passenger behavior in rail transit has become a top priority, as it affects operational safety. Passenger travel time is the main basis for identifying abnormal while considering flexibility of time. Currently, method to use absolute threshold discrimination based on distribution However, there problem missing due large difference between Origin-Destinations (ODs). Therefore, this paper proposes setting corresponding thresholds each OD. By analyzing percentile curves overall and individual OD pairs, was found that turning point curve had significant feature, two sides obvious. This bilateral fitting method, results show can calculate relative different pairs. The advantages are its low cost wide coverage.
